Steven and Bob ready to ride the "Tour de Sewer" in Bell Gardens, California.
The after ride party. This was a well organized ride.
A fun event to attend if you are in the area.
Bob ready to pack up and take the four hour drive home.
This was one of the best organized rides I've been on. We did the 30 mile route. The markers were very easy to see. So no getting lost! There was one hill and we made it up without stopping. A few people had to walk it. Most of the 30 mile route is along the flood control with some interesting detours along the way (we carried our bikes about 60 feet at one point, don't worry it was fun). The finish was along city streets with a lot of intersection signal lights! This is a good beginner to intermediate ride. The one hill would be a definite challenge for a beginning rider. There is a 15 mile ride. I was told it was flat. The party afterward was fun with a chance to meet a lot of other recumbent riders. We enjoyed the ride and will be back next year!
